Are rented handpieces new or refurbished?

Both are available. New handpieces carry manufacturer warranties. Refurbished units are fully serviced, with worn bearings and seals replaced, and carry a 6-month service guarantee.

Can I use my own burs with rented handpieces?

Yes — all handpieces use standard ISO bur shanks (FG 1.6 mm for high-speed turbines, RA / HP for low-speed). Your existing bur inventory is fully compatible.

How are handpieces disinfected between patients?

Rented handpieces are autoclavable. Your practice's normal decontamination cycle applies. The rental agreement requires you to follow the manufacturer's decontamination protocol to maintain the warranty.
